Sacco Rebrands itself The giant Meru Mwalimu Sacco has been rebranded Solutions Sacco. This is aimed at widening the client base to include savers from other professions. The resolution to rebrand the Sacco was passed during the Annual General Meeting held in Meru Town on 11^th February 2012.

Dairy farmers want new KCC reverted to them

Dairy farmers in the North Rift have urged the government to revert the ownership of the New Kenya Co-operative Creameries (NKCC) to them. This comes in the wake of government’s plan to privatize the organization which is currently 100% government owned after it bought from KCC 2000.
